The First Lady of Akwa Ibom State, Patience Umo Eno, has passed away. The sad news was confirmed by the state’s Commissioner for Information, Ini Ememobong, in a statement released early Friday morning. He revealed that Patience Umo Eno died on Thursday, September 26, 2024, in a hospital surrounded by her family.
The Commissioner expressed deep sorrow over the loss, saying the First Lady’s death was a significant blow to the state and her family. “It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of the wife of the Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Her Excellency, Pastor Mrs. Patience Umo Eno,” Ememobong said in his statement.
